A question about rabies in a bear claw.?
Hey, today my brother brought home this bear claw and said the neighbors gave it to him as a gift and said they found a dead bear and took his claws, now like a moron i was scratching myself with it to see how sharp it was, you know fooling around till my dad said throw it away it could have rabies and other disease. Now I wasn't thinking until that point. Could a bear claw have rabies on it? I mean the claw looked somewhat clean but it was cracked and I could see the inside of the claw. I asked my mom were he really got it from, she said a shop, like a souvenir shop. But idk it didn't look like it was from a shop. Let's say it wasn't what are the odds of me getting rabies from it? I mean I don't think me scratching it penetrated my skin at all.
