Does a magnetic cell phone holster damage the cell phone?
I hold my cell phone in belt holster that has a magnet built in it. The magnet is used to hold the top of the holster shut when it is closed. My question is will this magnet damage my cell phone in any way? Will it damage the battery since it is so close to the magnet or shorten its life expectancy? It would have to be a rare earths magnet or something EXTREMELY strong to affect it.
