Kelley Blue Book Honors 2011 Honda CR-V
Kelley Blue Book awarded the Honda CR-V with the Best Resale Value Award for 2011. It was placed in the top ten and received the award for the category of compact utility vehicle. This award honors automakers that offer vehicles that best maintain their appeal after five years of ownership. The 2011 Honda CR-V offers the perks of an SUV, but is compact and fuel efficient. Honda makes it easy to choose which CR-V is best for buyers. Consumer can simply set their budget and choose a trim that is in the right price range.
The 2011 Honda CR-V is available in four different trim levels: LX, SE, EX, and EX-L. It has seating for five and runs on a 2.4-liter four-cylinder VTEC engine that produces 180 horsepower and gets good mileage. The transmission is an automatic five-speed and it has two-wheel drive.
The LX features 17-inch styled steel wheels, a chrome grille, remote entry system, 2-speed intermittent windshield wipers, and folding power side mirrors. It also comes with air conditioning, power windows, cruise control, tilt and telescopic steering column, conversation mirror with sunglasses holder, under seat storage bin, and floor mats. The seating includes reclining front bucket seats with adjustable head restraints, driver's seat with manual height adjustment, 60/40 split sliding fold and tumble forward rear seats, 40/20/20 reclining rear seatbacks with center pass-through, and head restraints at all seating positions. For entertainment, it includes a 160-watt AM/FM/CD audio system with four speakers, MP3/Windows Media Audio (WMA) playback capability, and a MP3/auxiliary input jack.
The SE includes all the features of the LX, but adds 17-inch alloy wheels, rear privacy glass, steering wheel mounted audio controls, and a 160-watt AM/FM/6-disc in-dash audio system with seven speakers including a subwoofer. The EX includes all the features of the SE, but adds a one-touch power moonroof with tilt feature, chrome rear license trim, illuminated driver's and front passenger's vanity mirrors, a dual deck cargo shelf, CD text display capability, a compass, and an exterior temperature indicator. The EX-L includes all the features of the EX, but also adds auto-on/off multi-reflector halogen headlights, body-colored door handles, a dual-zone automatic climate control system, leather-wrapped steering wheel, center console, driver's seat adjustment with ten-way power adjustment including power lumbar support, leather trimmed seats, heated front seats, 270-watt AM/FM/6-disc in-dash audio system with seven speakers including a subwoofer, USB audio interface, and XM radio.
