Text Based Flash game design, Need help!?
Hey.
I've had a really good idea to start off my game designing, and this is it.
It's set during the 17th of July, 1942. Better known as the start of the Battle of Stalingrad. You can choose two campaigns, one being Wehrmact, and the other obviously the USSR. You play as either Kommandant Austerlitz of the 6th Wehrmact Div. , Or Marshal Of the Soviet Union Vasilevsky of the Red Army. The objective is to command your forces to victory, And it's all text based. Decisions you choose influence the war, You must think, and it's got a bit of RTS in it, as your units can be affected by places such as the environment, IE, a Panzer is not going to be that effective in tight, urban areas, but a squad of Sturmtruppen would easily excell in CQB. I've got the full CS5 package to use, so please, give me some help 
I'd also like some decent drawers, For the pictures of each unit etc. It's all in my head, and i could get it to work well.
This seem a bit confused. If its text based what do you need CS5 for? If its text based (with pictures), you only need HTML, or simple Javascript. I can't see how you could do an RTS with text. RTS games need graphics, or have you invented Real Text Strategy?
The concept is good, you need to define it better. If you want to get other people involved you need a design document. This would make you think through the gameplay and help other people to understand what you are aiming for.
