Advice on my chilli plants please?
On my golden cayenne the tips of some leaves have either died or been eaten. They look like if you set a piece of paper alight and then put it out like the burnt edge but its only the very tip of the leaves. It's otherwise a good looking plant with some large fruit on it. I can't see any insects on it and some of my other plants are covered in greenfly yet they seem fine. Any idea what this is and what I can do to stop it. ( growing in england )
Hondu gives the various options but I suspect that it is simply leaf burn, which is common in so many plants and is really nothing to worry about. It is difficult to say how to cure it without seeing the position of the plant etc., but the good news is that it really should not affect cropping and will just look a little unsightly. As the plant produces new leaves you can pick off those tattier ones. Make sure you water adequately as well watered plants are less likely to suffer from this type of damage.
