Stay Safer At Home
Here are some great safety tips that will help keep your home safe from burglars.
Don't Open Your Door to Strangers. Many burglars will try to look like a police officer or a delivery person. Your front door should be equipped with an eyepiece so you can see who is standing on your porch. If you are not expecting them, insist on their proper ID, and call their office to verify their presence. Never open your door to them until you're completely satisfied that they are who they say.
Do Not Leave Extra Keys Under Doormats. Every burglar in the world knows to look under doormats, potted plants, and larger rocks placed near entry doors. If you feel like you need to have a spare key stored somewhere, a trustworthy neighbor or a lock box is just the ticket.
Plant Rosebushes or Hedges. Planting rosebushes or hedges in front of any windows that may be easy to break into is a great security measure, and one that is very effective. The last thing a burglar wants to contend with, particularly when it's dark outside, is a bush full of stickers or thorns. Plant them close and give potential burglars no wiggle room whatsoever.
Get Someone to Watch Your House when Away. When you know you'll be away from home for an extended period of time, asking a neighbor to watch your house is a very good idea. They'll be able to collect your mail, retrieve newspapers and packages, and in general keep an eye on your house, knowing you're not there and no one should be hanging around.
Each of these security measures will work in tandem with a professionally installed home security burglar alarm system, making your house the one the burglars will skip.

Catastrophe! Something has broken off my NikonD90?
I think it's the eyepiece or the eyepiece extender.
I tripped and (no idea how) it has just broken off.
Plus the cap of the slot where you put your SD has also broken off..
But that's not a THAT big problem, because you still can put it on without it falling off.

A sd card door is a normal spare, 12 euros here so you should be able to get one.

the viewfinder... yes, well you should be able to use it. Looking at it the challenge will be to remove that screw. Might require some major surgery. If you send it to nikon they'll most likely install a new housing and charge a mint.
Some googling and perhaps a small payment should get you the d90 repair manual which clearly shows how to disassemble and assemble the cam
