Changing of the Guard: Duty Ends and Duty Begins
Those who visit Windsor will be able to visit one of its unique highlights, and that is the famous ‘Changing of the Guard’. In other words this event is called Guard Mounting. It is the event of which the old guard exchanges duty with the new guard.
Usually a band escorts the guards; however it changes according to different weather conditions. Visitors will have to pay in order to get to the castle to witness the actual Changing of the Guard ceremony. This world famous march can be witnessed as the guards march along the High Street into the Castle. This fascinating march up to the castle takes approximately 10 minutes.
This exceptional event generally occurs right outside the Guardroom within the Lower Ward of the Windsor Castle. The ceremony that takes place inside the castle takes approximately 30 minutes.
The Changing of the Guard is a ceremony that can be witnessed right throughout the year. However it varies according to the changing of the weather. The Guards usually march on alternate days during the months from August to March. But in months like April, May, June and July the ceremony becomes a daily event. However the Changing of the Guard ceremony never takes place on Sundays.
The schedule of the ceremony is generally put together by the British Army. Those who wish to witness this one of a kind national event will have to take position at High Street by 10.50 in the morning. Once the procession enters the castle, the Guards switch positions outside the Guardroom in the Lower Ward at about 11.00 am. By about 11.25 am the old guards start marching to the barracks. And so this interesting ceremony that has been happening for many years continues to go on whilst offering its onlookers something to talk about.

I am getting a job with the Chicago Park District to become a lifeguard, and I have no clue to what beach to pick, or to even pick a park district pool. Any Beach suggestions?!
