I don't own any arms with a scope. I use the sights. With my 7.62 SKS I can plug a bottle cap from about 40 yards. I can hit the broad side of a barn with my Thompson .45 sub machine gun (replica, I would cherish a genuine Tommy gun).
But I do like the Leupold dot.
