Hawaiian Vacation: The Hawaiian Islands

History of the Hawaiian Islands
Discovered in 1778 by British explorer James Cook, they were originally known as "The Sandwich Islands," named after James Cook's financier the 4th Earl of Sandwich John Montagu. From 1894 until 1898, Hawaii was an independent territory. In 1898 it became a US territory and was still a US territory during the infamous attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941. It did not become a state until 1959, making it the most recent state to be accepted into the United States of America.
Hawaii is located in the Pacific Ocean. There are over a 100 islands that comprise this volcanic island chain that is known as Hawaii. Hawaii (the Big Island), Maui, Oahu, Kauai, Lanai, Molokai, Kahoolawe, and Niihau make up the most popular islands and are known as the eight main islands.
There are over a million permanent residents of Hawaii. Many of the residents are bilingual speaking both English and the Hawaiian Language. The Hawaiian Language descended from the Polynesian dialects. Hawaii offers a unique culture with a blend of North American, Asian, and local influences.
Weather
Hawaii's tropical climate is less humid than the typical tropical environment, making it a great place to vacation. The high temperature is usually in the 80's all year round. There are really only two seasons; the dry season runs from May until October and the wet season is from October until May. During these months you may encounter some rain storms, but even then, they are usually just few passing showers and storms. During the winter months this tropical paradise can also get some snow but it is usually located in the peaks of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa which are both on the Big Island of Hawaii.
Kauaii's Mount Wai'ale'ale also has the distinction of having the 2nd highest rainfall per year in the world averaging a whopping 460 inches annually which is over 38 FEET of rainfall each year!
One of Hawaii's main industries is tourism. Many travelers each year visit to enjoy the weather, culture, and overall relaxed atmosphere. Because most of the natives of Hawaii speak English, American guests are able to communicate in their own language, making it a wonderful place to visit without the challenges of a language barrier.
Hawaii offers many wonderful activities for tourists to enjoy such as snorkeling, surfing, scuba diving, golf, and whale watching. Some travelers also enjoy dining on the local cuisine, watching the entertainment based on native culture, and taking tours of the surrounding areas.
When to Visit
With Hawaii's consistently warm tropical weather, it is a great place to visit any time of the year. During the winter the nighttime lows can reach into the 60's so pack a light jacket or sweater, but the highs are still in the 80's so you will be able to wear those summer clothes you packed.
While in Hawaii, many guests swim in the waters of the Pacific Ocean. The water here is so warm it can feel like bathwater. And guests do not have to run across the beach to their towel to dry off because of the warm sun will do the drying.

Is a shell mount and a reflex scope on a Remington 870 Express shotgun possible?
I'm not all that familiar with guns. I have seen videos where people upgrade shotguns with either a 6 round shell mount or a reflex scope. I was wondering if the two are able to be used together since they both use the pins that hold the trigger in.
One, if you intend to hunt with this gun, most states do not allow the shell mount. As for the scope, you could mount that on the barrel rail or have the gun tapped and drilled for a scope mount, or use the trigger guard pins holder, that would be up to you.
