Taser C2 Gold Kit Value Pack-Product Review
Taser International has recently introduced new packaging for their C-2 tasers. The taser C2 has been around for a couple of years now. They were introduced to appeal mainly to women because of the size and the color selection. But don't fool yourself. These are every bit as effective as their bigger brothers the M26 and the X26.
They still shoot out two barbs to a distance of 15 feet. The barbs are electrified and use high wattage rather than high voltage to disable an assailant with amazing effectiveness. Tasers have been shown to have more stopping power than a small handgun. Tasers use new EMD technology that disables the muscular and nervous system.
The new taser C2 gold kit contains a choice of six colors for the gun, a practice target, a holster, a training cartridge and two live cartridges. Not only does it represent good value in terms of what you get but it now allows you the opportunity to practice using the taser.
Another little-known fact is that before you can activate the taser you must register online. It requires a quick background check. So if you have a felony in your background you may not want to get one. You used to have to pay Taser $9.95 to do the background check but now it's free with the purchase of the C-2 taser.
According to FBI statistics of violent crime occurs in the United States every 23.9 seconds. Most of them are perpetrated against women. More than 225,000 consumers have purchased tasers for their nonlethal weapon designed to disable an assailant allowing you time to escape a dangerous situation.

Once you shoot a taser, you have to reload the cartridge. In the meantime you can use the end of the taser as a stun weapon.
It seems like every day you hear or see something in the news about a police officer using a taser. They do make good news stories that's for sure. Recently here in Colorado Springs police found a robbery suspect hiding hoping to escape capture. He was a little drunk, but he was armed so was considered very dangerous. He did not follow police commands and so rather than shoot him with potentially deadly force they used a taser to incapacitate him and get him under control. Another life saved!

Bare essentials for reloading?
I'm looking to start reloading for the 5.56 Nato / .223 Remington cartridge. Problem is, after my recently purchase of AR-15 to fire said cartridge, I can't afford any of the equipment (well, I can't convince my wife that I can afford it). I certainly can't justify a $200 reloading kit.
I've heard that there are such things as hand presses to reload one cartridge at a time. Very slow, but cheap. What is the most bare-minimum, no extra frills reloading setup that I could buy, to reload this one caliber?
The most basic kit you can get is the Lee Classic Loader Kit for $18.99 out of Cabela's. BUT, this only sizes the cartridge neck and should not be used to load ammunition for semi auto rifles.
The next step up is the Lee Hand Press Kit around $30. Unlike the Classic Loader it uses standard reloading dies sold separately around $20 for Lee Pacesetter. The Hand Press requires some strength to size rifle cartridges. Without a scale you'll have to use the powder scoop included with the Lee dies (and what powder works with the scoop) or get a separate scale to weigh powder charge.
The next step would be the Lee Challenger Kit. It is a mounted press and comes with everything needed to get started less dies and a case length gauge for the trimmer.
The Lee dies have basic information with them, but you'll want and need a good reloading manual.
