Handmade Bullet Necklaces - The Kent Bullet Necklace and How It All Got Up and Running
Someday last autumn I'd been taking a walk with my dog throughout the State Park that is more or less my own backyard. Enthusiasm was basically at a all time low. I had recently been back east to see a friend and I was beginning to feel better, yet not absolutely at ease. I was attempting to create some thing very different compared to the lines I had been releasing at my shows. The mood didn't sound right for a lot of flash given the economic graveyard individuals are in. I had loads of sea shells on hand and wanted to use them. I just wasn't absolutely certain what I should do with them all. I am really into the concept of salvage and making use of elements around me in a different way than what they are generally intended for... I love to attempt to recycle. I was puzzled and suddenly lost in beliefs as gray as the sky. Sea shells…sea shells…I'd had it!
Well then I overheard a reverberation I had been hearing for quite a few weeks, but didn't actually register any longer. It was the pop of shotguns a ways off in the distance. Shell casings! That led to the optimal coupling... Expended rifle shell casings and sea shells! The next day I headed off over to the Family Shooting Center. I connected with the owner Doug, and he gave me a tour of the shooting range. That day I took home the original case of pistol shell casings. It really has been a chore to actually assemble them on a necklace. There has been plenty of experimenting as there invariably is with brand new objects, nevertheless it has had its benefits.

While developing the seashell/ bullet casing items I started donning a strand of leather attached to a lone shell casing. Men and women started to ask if they could get one. Men are much tougher on necklaces compared to ladies. I realized straight away that I would need a machine-made and fabricated clasp, but yet that would end my ability to say my products were totally created by hand. But there was really no getting around it. After I had those produced, I still hand picked each bullet and hand-wove the casing into the leather cord. They are simply just the right match to the first bullet/seashell design.
Out of this original design The Kent Bullet has been born, and from that time onward I continued working predominantly with bullets. At random times, dependent upon on my frame of mind and inspirations, basically all of my work is based on designing and making bullet pieces. It has become one of my primary interests as I simply appreciate the way my buyers look and feel motivated by wearing this sort of a robust piece within their jewelry.

Is there any way to make cocking a pistol easier?
My wife has a cheaper pistol named Jimenez Arms .380 and after having it for a little over a year and a few boxes of shells she still has trouble cocking the pistol. so pretty much i was wondering if there is a way to make it cock easier? could you achieve this by getting the same kind of recoil spring but a "softer" one? thanks for any feedback!
Dump it and get her a different gun.
Look at a pistol with a "tip-up" barrel. My wife carried a Beretta TomCat 32. It loads like any other auto with a magazine. But it has a barrel release just above the trigger. Mast that and the barrel breaks opne like an old break barrel shotgun. Just put a bullet in the barrel, and load the magazine and you are ready to go. First trigger pull is double action (unless you cock it), all subsequent shots are single action.
Beretta and Taurus makes this type gun, some were made in 380.
