PROCEDURES AND RULES:
• The shooting grounds consist of 16 shooting positions that are 100 yards from the tower spaced 40 yards apart 360 degrees around the tower
• Each station will be occupied by one or two shooters. (16 minimum – 32 maximum)
• The tower height is up to about 50 ft.
• Most shots are from 40 to 60 yards
• If you feel that the bird is in your range you may shoot the bird.
• 10 pheasants are released per shooter during the shoot.
• Birds are released one or two at the time. After 10 birds have been released all shooters will rotate one position to the right so everyone has an equal shooting opportunity.
• After half of the birds have been released we will stop for lunch.
• Shooters will then return to the field for the other half of the birds to be released.
• All downed birds will be collected and divided equally between all shooters. Downed birds will be collected, processed, and packaged during the shoot.
• Each shooters meal and bird processing is included in the price of the shoot
• Only overhead shots are allowed for the safety of other shooters and the tower master.
• Recommended gun- 12 gauge full or modified choke
• No shot size larger than #5 is allowed
• Cold drinks and water will be available at 4 stations.
• Buckets will be at each station for trash and spent shells
