Is it safe to use Bach Rescue Remedy with Prozac?
I just started using Bach Rescue Remedy, in addition to my Prozac 40mg a day, for anxiety/panic/depression. I was wondering if these would have any adverse reactions, since one (Rescue Remedy) is completely natural and made from herbs. It seems to be working for me, and I would hate to stop it, but I was just curious if anyone took any prescriptions in addition to this Rescue Remedy. Thanks!
If they are any kind of a reputable company, then they should list interactions obtained from clinical trials on their website or in their literature. However they don't. Instead they say:
"The Bach Flower Remedies® are 100% safe and natural and work in conjunction with herbs, homeopathy and medications. They are safe for everyone, including children, pregnant women, pets, elderly and even plants."
Of course we all know that "natural" does not always equal safe. They are committing the naturalistic fallacy.
They also say:
"It is impossible to overdose with the Bach Flower Remedies®, they are 100% natural and safe. You can drink a whole bottle of Remedies and not "overdose."

Which can only mean they have no biological effect at all. And that makes sense, because they are considered homeopathic. And of course homeopathy is all about extreme dilutions, where no active ingredients remain.
However, the best advice is to check with your real doctor, and do not go off your meds with prior consultation.
