Is getting a USMC tattoo a good idea before enlisting?
I really want to get a globe, anchor, and eagle tattoo before i join the Marines, but I am not sure of two things...
1. If they will allow me to join with a tattoo (either on my neck or shoulder, but somewhere where it could be covered up by clothing)
and
2. If I will catch a lot of flack from my drill instructor for having a USMC tattoo before I am actually a Marine.
If you don't think I should get it before joining, would I be able to get one once I had completed my training?
Sorry, not being rude but just honest, I would say NO WAY..You have not earned the right to have that tattoo, Wait till your finished training and served some time in your Battalion.
